    Description

I purchased this car in California from an estate sale in January 2021 and I have invested quite some time and money to get it working correctly and to a presentable level. I am selling it as I have another project coming! The car has a clear (bonded) Texas title in my name.
The cars interior in 9 out of 10. Seats are like new. Headliner is up and everything works as it should, even the digital clock which usual fails on these cars. There is a small hairline crack in the wood clearcoat by the gear shifter and some of the air vents mechanisms are broken. It has its original floor mats, manual and service book. It has an after market radio with blue tooth installed for a phone connection and I have the original head unit I will supply with the car.
The trunk is clean and dry with a full spare wheel and tools. I repaired the wiring which is a typical fault with these cars so the truck and license plate lights work as they should.
On the outside I had all the dings removed other that the passenger side quarter panel which does still have a dent. The front bumper and wing mirrors obviously have touch up paint on them, so would need a respray if you wanted it to be perfect. From 5 feet you would never know. Other than that its straight and true with absolutely no rust. All the seals are good and there are no leaks in the rain. The underside is equally clean with no signs of rust having lived the majority of its life in Southern California. The wheels do have some scrapes, but nothing serious and can easily be refinished if you are a perfectionist. The Firestone tires are in good shape.
Mechanically the car is sound and starts every time. I have completed the following work; New front discs and pads, new front struts, fresh brake fluid,  new upper and lower sway bar bushings, value cover gasket and plug seals, fresh engine and transmission oil, plugs, new belts and idle pulleys, new upper cooling hose, new water pump and antifreeze. I also put OEM coil packs in the car rather than the cheap Chinese ones it came with.  The air conditioning works perfectly and the car has a new battery. There is a slight leak from the transmission gasket so I will supply a new one complete with a filter. If I get time I might change it myself! I also have a new set of front wheel bearings that I will supply with the car. I don't think they need doing yet, but a car of this age and weight is a good idea to change them regularly. The back brakes have been checked, cleaned and greased and are all good.
The car comes with one key and remote key fob. Spares are easy to find online. I also have a folder full of receipts and history with will accompany the car.
I did a quick walkaround video you can find here: https://youtu.be/-yohO3dJxT4
So, a great opportunity to buy a classic, well sorted and fast Jaguar that will only appreciate over time.
I am happy to answer any questions and supply any additional photos as needed.
