    Description

50 Long Beach California images, 16 postcards, 20 images in a folder, and 14 in an address book.  Postcards include early white border era Bascule Bridge unused est. 1915, divided back era Beach and Sun Pavilion used 1907, 5 linen era - Buffum Hotel used 1952, Hotel Lafayette used 1941, Villa Rivera Hotel unused est. 1950, Skyline  showing the Pike in background unused est. 1955, and Breakers on Rainbow Pier unused est. 1935.  There are 9 chrome era postcards, 3 are used 1953 to 1966 and includes 2 of Lafayette Hotel and 1 of Mounted Police.  "Scenic Folder of Long Beach - Queen of the Beaches" has many wonderful images including the Pike Amusement Zone founded in 1902 and the Jack Rabbit Roller Coaster (1915-1930), Bisby's Spiral Airship (maybe the Niagara Barrel), a really scary Airplane Swing that went out over the ocean, and more.  The folder has 20 images, with 18 inside and 2 on cover, it is early white border est. 1915.  There is also an "Address Book" that contains 14 images of the Queen Mary Ocean Liner Ship and the Spruce Goose Airplane.  The address book is hard to date but it is between 1977 and 1993, being when approximately the Spruce Goose came to Long Beach and then left (1993) for relocation to McMinnville Oregon.    Condition of the postcards is 11 very good+ to excellent, 2 very good, and 3 (Bridge, Bavilion, and Breakers) good+.  The folder's inside images are excellent and the cover is very good.  The Address book is excellent to mint.  Condition is always subjective so please review the scan and make your own decision as to condition.  If you have any questions, please send me a message in advance of the auction's closing.
