There’s much debate amongst the doll community where specifically “creepy dolls” fit in. I’m here to say that this doll niche is alive and growing, and that “creepy” dolls deserve love and a home too. My “creepy” dolls are always completely authentic and found as-is—there’s been no alterations or purposeful aging done on any of them. These are coming out of my personal side collection of sad dolls, of which I’ve picked up over the years at estates, in trunks and attics, etc. I’ve sold them to professional studios, news rooms, and tattoo shops. It seems that these alternative (and authentic) dolls are all the rage for their novelty value.
This 27” composition baby doll is life-size enough to make a large impact with their presence. Wearing an antique dress and bonnet, their ghostly aesthetic is effortless and authentic. They have flaws all over their composition, and no longer have sleepy eyes. One of my favorite decaying beauties from my private collection.
