  • Condition: These are adorable! There is cracking and flacking on the composition of these girls. There is wear or scratching on the painted details. There is discoloration and stains, mainly on the bodies. One doll has a newer body. That doll has an arm that needs to be re-attached. The dresses are not original. Please refer to pictures.

    Description

    Antique composition dolls. One is slightly different than the other. The doll with the older body is marked GOLD DOLL on the back of her neck area. They look like twins or sisters. One has a newer body (
    probably
    replaced) Their dresses are not original, although, they were probably made for them. They have velcro enclosures on the back. The dresses are nice and clean. I don't see any stains.
    These  dolls have composition heads and composition arms. Their bodies and legs are stuffed with straw.

    Measure approximately 14" long.
    This doll came from a local estate. She was the doll of a woman in our community who passed away a few years ago. This woman lived in the same house her entire life. This doll has been tucked away in that house since the early 1920s would be my guess.
