  • Condition: Wonderful hat stand. Please enlarge pictures for a better description. Painting on face is beautiful with brownish eye shadow. Blond curly mohair flowing around face. Painted brown/gold eyes looking a little to the side. Paint missing from top of hat stand - - probably from holding a hat. Face needs to be cleaned - - nose is especially dirty. I'll let the new owner do it.

    Description

    Made in Germany.  Sticker on bottom of hat stand.
    9 1/2" Art Deco Wooden Hat Stand Holder with Lady's Head at base.
    I think its a composition head.  The hat and the scarf remind me of an oil cloth, but they are stiff.  Perhaps they are some type of paper mache material (?).
    Actual wooden stand is green.
