    ABOUT THIS ITEM:
    Darling painted metal elephant marked Germany.  A magnet does not stick to this elephant; therefore, I am assuming he is "pot metal" or "monkey metal." His paint is wearing off in places, but no chips in the metal.  He is stamped "Germany" inside his right hind leg. This elephant belonged to my Mother.  He is an item from her doll and toy collection.
