    Here is an outstanding hand crafted reproduction of a leather South Dakota license plate.  In the 1907-1912 era, the state issued a number to individuals to license their vehicles, but it was up to the individual to make their own plate for display.  Every one you find is unique.  Originals sell for thousands of dollars and are usually well worn.  This is a great item for your early show car.
