Lladro #1151 "Two Elephants" Mother & Calf Figurine
From Lladro's "Black Legacy Collection" comes this large and beautiful figurine of a mother elephant and her calf, modeled by Fulgencio Garcia.
It was retired in 1999.
The mother is shown with two long tusks and her trunk raised high.
The sculpture measures 12" high by 11" long and is in excellent condition with no damage found.
Marked in blue in two places on the base and stamped with the number 14.
Also hand incised with several marks, at least one of which I believe denotes the decorator.
A stunning addition to a Lladro or elephant collection.
