This 1989 figurine is part of Martha Carey's The Herd series. It depicts a sitting baby elephant named Popcorn. The model number is 3110. It appears that the original figurines from this line were marked as this one is with a paper tag showing the company name as Marty Sculpture with a location in Milton VT. This piece has an additional tag with a 1989 date and the name of the elephant. I believe that most of the pieces of this line from this line for sale online are from the 2000s when production was moved to China and a small "rock" piece was included that shows the name of the sculpture. SIZE: This figurine is about 6 1/4" tall. BACKGROUND: I recently bought a number of things from the estate of a neighbor who had several thousand figurines.
