Very Rare and simply wonderful, 1860's Civil War Union Soldier’s Jeweler Made Corps Badge / Pin being a beautiful and finely crafted 9K Gold 9th Corps Badge.
This beautiful, Star Shaped, Civil War Corps Badge measures approx. 1” across the points of the die cut, diamond engraved five pointed star. At the center of the star is the shield shaped IX Corps Badge with crossed anchor and canon within the shield. The Badge has a long, stick pin style pin back that measures approx. 2 1/2” long. The Badge is not marked in any way but tests as 9K gold.
This Corps Badge is unconditionally guaranteed to be an original, Civil War era Corps Badge. It is NOT a modern recreation or reproduction but an original, 1860’s Finely Crafted, Jeweler Made Civil war Corps Badge. The Badge will come with our own Letter of Authenticty which will include a statement of our unconditional, lifetime guarantee that the Corps Badge will be deemed authentic and as described by any third party authentication service.
This very rare and very beautiful, Jeweler Made, Civil War IX Corps Badge is in excellent condition. It is sound and intact with no damage or repairs of any kind. It appears that the front surface has been polished some time in the not too distant past and the Corps Badge displays beautifully.
