Fits Subaru 2008 to 2014 with the 5EAT or 5AT transmission.

NEW 5EAT 5AT Turbine Speed Sensor 2. (P1710 code and hard shift fix) Often there will be a P0700 code at the same time.
This is a very inexpensive alternative to replacing the entire valve body which is what Subaru tells you is required to fix the "P1710 Torque Converter Turbine 2 Speed Signal Circuit 2 Malfunction".
As pictured, I used butt splice connectors from NAPA that include adhesive lined heat shrink tubing. I will not know how well that holds up for a long time but this definitely fixed the problem.

I will not warranty this part or accept returns as the success of the repair lies solely on the capabilities of the person doing the repair.  Replacing this part requires advanced skills as it is located on top of the valve-body and must be spliced in.
