Patagonia Mens Powder Bowl Ski/Snowboard Pants

These are Patagonia's Mens Powder Bowl Ski/Snowboard pants.  I LOVE THESE PANTS.  I am not much of a snowboarder, as in I don't go very often, and although I received them as a gift approximately 1.5 years ago, I have only used them 4 times.  On that 4th time, I went split boarding for the first time and as my legs unwantingly went into the splits at one point, the inseam of these pants unwillingly split as well.  I sent them in to Patagonia for a professional repair in January of 2021 (which is when strenuous stretching of the pant and my legs happened), and did not receive them back until approximately the middle of May.  I had a big backcountry split board adventure planned this past April in Colorado with a Buddy, and had to buy another set of pants for that trip.  Although I like these Patagonia pants more, I used the new ones in Colorado more times in 2 weeks than I did these Patagonia ones.
I called Patagonia and asked what my options were for returning them, and they said that I could only send them into worn wear for about .  These are 0 snow pants worn 4 times and professionally repaired, I'm no rocket scientist but I know they are worth more than that.
