The original The North Face Summit L5 Bibs.  Identical to the current Summit L5 Bibs in almost every way.  While the current bibs use Futurelight 3L waterproof/breathable fabric, these bibs were designed using DryVent 3L waterproof/breathable fabric.  This is what The North Face's website has to say about this remarkable technology which they created "to provide maximum protection, performance and comfort":

Aside from looks, the material tag and price tag shows just how indistinguishable these two bibs really are.  The material/textile is the exact same (see black tag comparison photo) and the retail price is a difference of just ; 0 (Futurelight) vs. 9 (DryVent).  The
