Vintage Cloth Composition Child Doll Socket Head Louis Amberg ?? Old Unmarked. Listed as used with an unknown history and origin. She is a pretty girl, 20 inches tall. She has been taken care of through her years. She has a shoulder plate head. The head swivels on the plate. The plate is glued to the cloth body. Her arms and legs are jointed together. I do find a break on her toes on one foot. Her fingers are in very nice vintage condition. A few small cracks at the back of the head. One on her forearm. A repair at the bottom of her chest plate. Some chipping around her eyes. Her eyelashes are near perfect. Her clothing is very well made. It does all appear homemade. The tag on her wrist says she “marked Louis Amberg”. I have not verified this as I do not know. I am not sure if the bright pink ink on her body may have had words. It is now a pink smear. Part of the tag has been cut away.
