    Description

    We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure a vintage metal license plate. It is NOS (New Old Stock) from the state of SOUTH DAKOTA and from the year 1972. The plate is sealed in its original plastic. The plastic shows wear. The lower left corner and the upper left hand corner of the plastic is split. The plate has a slightly off white reflective background with black lettering and numbers. The letters, numbers and raised up outline are all embossed on the plate in black paint. The HMT - 354 are on the plate with the HMT standing for HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE TRANSPORTATION. The plate has never been used or mounted. It measures 6” by 12”.
