Top has blown-out relief likeness of PIO XI - Pope Pius XI who served circa 1922 to 1939
Back side features a relief picture titled "ROMA - PIAZZA e BASILICA di S. PIETRO"
Measures overall 2 1/2" x 1 7/8" x 1/2" thick
Probably a souvenir item from a visit to Rome in the 1920s-1930s
No dents or damage - closes securely with a snap - interior is still bright and shiny
