VTG 1931 HORSMAN 13" Composition & Cloth Baby BUTTERCUP w/ Cute Dress

This is a 13" Antique/Vintage Horsman Baby Buttercup Doll that is as cute as can be !  She has reddish blonde painted hair, open/close painted tin eyes and the Horsman imprint on the bac k of her neck.  She does have some crazing and paint fading from age. She has wrinkled fat dimpled bowed arms and starfish like fingers. Her hands have chipped/cracking paint. Her fat wrinkled bowed legs are so cute. Her feet are chipped badly, but not loose. She has a stuffed cloth body which is in good, neat , clean condition, bo stains, odors or holes. The crier does not work. She has a cute red and white check dress with white short puffy sleeves and 2 snaps in the back. The sleeve cuffs will need new elastic as it has worn and no longer does the job. Dress has been freshly laundered and is neat, clean, no odors.
This doll belonged to my late older sister and she got it when she was just a little tike. So, she has been around for a while.
Baby Buttercup dolls are few and far between and despite her flaws, she is a good solid doll to add to your collection as is, or refinish her flaws and bring her back to her original luster !
